About

The U.S. Congress created the Centers for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) in 1988 to promote international understanding and economic enterprise. Administered by the U.S. Department of Education under Title VI, Part B of the Higher Education Act of 1965, the CIBER network links the human capital and information needs of the U.S. business community with the international education, language training, and research capacities of universities across the country. The 33 CIBERs serve as regional and national resources to business practitioners, students, and faculty.

Since its establishment in 1998, the Wisconsin CIBER has become a valuable resource for international business activities throughout our state.
