Ciber Faculty Research

Each January, the Wisconsin CIBER offers a Faculty Development in International Business (FDIB) program in Southeast Asia. Participants in past programs have visited Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. These programs offer professors of business the chance to learn about the opportunities and challenges of doing business in emerging markets, with the expectation that they will incorporate what they learn into their teaching and research activities after they return.

The Wisconsin CIBER is a cosponsor of the University of Colorado-Denver CIBER's faculty development program in China, and offers partial sponsorship for faculty from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and other Wisconsin institutions to participate in the Southeast Asia FDIB, China FDIB, and other programs offered through the national CIBER network. See the map below for information on other FDIB programs.

The CIBER network also offers a variety of domestic faculty development opportunities. Professors of business from Wisconsin institutions who are interested in possible CIBER sponsorship should contact for more information.
