Information for Graduates:
Confirm your graduation status:
Fill out the online form or meet with an advisor to make sure you’re on
track for graduation. Be sure to submit the form as soon as possible
after the third week of classes in the semester before you intend to
graduate. Find the online form at go.wisc.edu/BBAChecklist.
Apply to graduate:
Log in to the Student Center via My UW and complete the graduation
application found in My Academics. You’ll need to indicate the semester
in which you plan to have all of your degree and major requirements
complete, as well as if you plan to attend a graduation ceremony. Visit
commencement.wisc.edu for the deadline to ensure your name is printed in the commencement program.
Deadline for Spring 2017 commencement: Friday, March 31st
Report your post-graduation plans:
Reporting your post-graduation plans is required for all BBA graduates
prior to commencement day. Once you know your plans for after
graduation, login to BuckyNet and under the “Profile” section select
“Career Outcomes.” Click “Add New” and fill out the form as completely
as possible. It will be one less thing to worry about as commencement
Complete The Compass Program™ requirements: Log into Campus Groups at wsb.campusgroups.com/login to
see a list of your requirements and track your progress toward
completion. Students who do not complete their requirements by
graduation will have a hold placed on their account, which will prevent
them from receiving transcripts after graduation. Email email@example.com with questions.

Celebrate!: Join us at the BBA Graduation Celebration and make plans to attend commencement at commencement.wisc.edu. Graduation only happens once—be sure to take time to make one last visit to your favorite campus spots.

This event is free and no tickets are needed. May and August graduates and their families/guests are welcome to attend. Graduates, watch your email for more details!
General Degree Details
Degree Name: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Graduating with Distinction: To graduate with distinction, a student must place within the top 20% of the graduating business class. Students will be notified via email and invited to order a stole to wear at graduation.
Degree Verification: Degrees cannot be verified until after official grades have been submitted. Degrees are posted to students' records approximately 2-4 weeks after graduation. Once degrees are posted, students may request verification by requesting an official transcript and/or typed Certificate of Graduation from the Office of the Registrar. Official Transcripts: Students may order official transcripts using the Office of the Registrar Ordering Official Transcripts page.
Diploma: Approximately 12 weeks after graduation, your diploma will be mailed to your “home address” as indicated in your Student Center (or “diploma address” if outside North America).
