Buenos Aires: South American Business Forum by Joseph Halaas

The South American Business Forum (SABF) is an annual event held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. For three days, 100 remarkable students from around the world join 40 prominent leaders from different fields such as engineering, science, politics, business, law and education. The aim of this forum is to generate a space of debate and exchange of ideas and experiences, where everyone has the opportunity to share their opinions to create an enriching debate to contribute to sustainable development. The event has been held since 2005 and students from over 60 countries have already taken part of the experience.

In order to participate, students must write an essay centered on this edition´s main topic. The essays will be evaluated by an independent jury, and the top 100 contributions will be invited to the conference. All expenses are covered, except for the flight ticket. Registration for the 8th edition of the South American Business Forum is open until May 6. The forum will be held August 3-5 in the city of Buenos Aires, under the main topic “Global Objectives, Collaborative Actions.” To be eligible to become one of the 100 participants you should be a graduate or undergraduate student born after January 1st, 1986.
