Consulting Career Panel Scheduled for April 19 by Diane Upton

Considering a career in consulting? UW-Madison business and engineering students have an opportunity to explore the career of Management Consulting at an interactive panel conducted by Baker Tilly on Thursday, April 19, from 6:00-8:00 pm at 1106 Mechanical Engineering. Through an interactive panel, students will discover the dynamic and fast paced career of consulting through the lens of both new and experienced consultants.

Staff Consultant to Partner level representatives will cover topics including: consulting vs. industry, types of consulting firms, work/life balance, day to day responsibilities and requirements, and career path/project experience. Students are encouraged to speak candidly with Baker Tilly panelists and use this opportunity to put their career planning into high gear.

This event has been planned in partnership with two UW Madison Organizations, Wisconsin Consulting Club (WCC) and Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), but is open to all students on campus. Food and beverages will be provided.
