Staying in Madison Over Spring Break? Volunteer at the Monona Bay Shoreline Clean Up
Join the Friends of Monona Bay for their monthly volunteer day. Volunteers will meet at the Brittingham Beach House and assist with picking up trash along the Shoreline and in Brittingham Park.
This is a great way to get out and help out the lakes and parks. This project happens in any and all kinds of weather. Training will be provided on-site. Volunteers should wear work clothes and work gloves. Much of this work involves cleaning up on the rocky shoreline. Volunteers may get wet. Please be aware that volunteers may be stepping on the rocky shoreline. For more information, visit the City of Madison Parks Division.
