Attention MHR majors! The National Academy of Human Resources is sponsoring the Ram Charan HR Essay Contest, a contest open to university undergraduates and graduate students throughout the world who are majoring in human resources. Three prizes are awarded for the best three essays: $20,000; $10,000; and $5,000. The awardees will also have the opportunity to have an all-expenses paid trip to the NAHR annual installation of New Fellows on November 2, 2012 in New York City.
The essay topic is: How has HR strategy, policy or practices contributed to the performance of organizations? Contributions could be direct, impacting revenue growth and return on invested capital or indirect, impacting engagement, productivity and retention.
The essays should be a minimum of 5 pages to a maximum of 20 pages, double-spaced, 12 point font. Essays must be submitted by email (PDF format) and a hard copy back-up (by mail) to:
