Discover Deloitte Student Program: Getting to Know Deloitte by Kelly Cuene

The Discover Deloitte Student Program (DDSP) is a four part program scheduled for select days during the spring, summer, and fall.  This opportunity is for students that have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills combined with strong academic performance.  During these four events students will be participating in team activities, shadow days, and community service activities geared towards bringing out the leadership skills and potential of each participant while learning about Deloitte’s core values.  Students will have an opportunity to learn more about available careers at Deloitte, meet professionals from our organization, and learn more about the IMAcc internship interviews scheduled for Spring 2013.  The events during the DDSP will take place at UW-Madison and in the Deloitte Milwaukee office. 

Qualifications:
  • Students studying accounting/business that intend to apply for the Spring 2013 IMAcc Program
  • Keen interest in professional services and a career in accounting
  • Strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.2 or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels 
Timeline:
  • Applications due: Friday, March 16th
  • On Campus Meetings: March 20th & 21st
  • Final Invites sent to selected students: Late March/Early April
  • Events: May 1st 2012, June 6th 2012, August 2012, September 2012
