Visit China to Learn About International Business and Retail! by Kelly Cuene

For the third year, Kohl's Department Stores and Human Ecology's Kohl's Center for Retailing Excellence will be sponsoring a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in a 10-day trip to Hong Kong and China for business, retail and design students.   It's an incredible international experience where you learn about culture, business and retailing in China at a minimal cost to students.

China: Business, Culture, & Retail Industry Trip 2012 Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing (Exact locations subject to change) March 28-April 7 *1 credit course under CS501: Special Topics *Cost of trip is $500 (plus personal spending money)

A student who went on the trip last year said, "Not only did the trip open my eyes to a side of  retail many my age do not fully understand, but it provided me with knowledge and experience I know I will use as I move forward with my career."

Another student commented,"From seeing the sights of Beijing to visiting manufacturing facilities and offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong, to the fun cultural experiences on the streets, the opportunities [Kohl's] gave us provided a unique perspective on international business."
