Go Global Offers Resources for Those Seeking International Experiences by Kelly Cuene

Go Global! @ UW-Madison offers drop-in advising (as well as appointments) throughout the Fall 2011 semester for students interested in pursuing international (and internationally-oriented) work: whether it's a volunteer opportunity, an internship, or work (short-term, teaching English, career-focused, summer, etc).

Drop-in hours: Most Wednesdays & Thursdays, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Full details (including appointment availability) are online at: http://go.global.wisc.edu/advising.htm

Announcements of job openings, internships, volunteer & teaching opportunities, as well as events of interest are sent out *exclusively* through our Twitter feed: http://twitter.com/Go_Global

Note that you do *not* need to be signed up with Twitter to view the listings -- they are freely accessible to all on the web. This Twitter feed was one of 5 finalists for the 2011 GoAbroad.com Innovative Use of Social Media award. Check it out!

There is also a new group on LinkedIn which students are invited to join: http://www.linkedin.com/groups?home=&gid=4071801
