REMINDER: Apply for Madison Business Mentoring (MBM) by THIS Friday, September 23rd at 11:59 p.m! Space is limited - preference is given to early applications.

Interested in being mentored by business professionals from Fortune 500 companies or Wisconsin MBA students? Apply to be a student mentee through Madison Business Mentoring (MBM). Our mentors are from or have worked at top firms like Google, GE, JP Morgan, Target, Kraft, Deloitte, Intuit, and more.

What is MBM?

Madison Business Mentoring (MBM) is a student organization affiliated with the Wisconsin School of Business that helps students prepare for the business world by assigning each a professional mentor. Mentors are UW graduates currently working in a variety of business disciplines or MBA students with prior work experience.

Founded in fall of 2010 by five Wisconsin School of Business students and advised by BBA program Assistant Dean Steve Schroeder, MBM aims to encourage professional development and help students gain insight into the post-graduation phase by setting the stage for a strong mentoring relationship.

Who can apply to be a mentee?

All UW – Madison undergraduate students, regardless of major, with a strong interest in business or business-related fields.

What’s the time commitment?

Student mentees are asked to:

  1. Attend the program kick-off, orientation, and commencement
  2. Commit to the program for its year-long duration
  3. Attend at least 3 professional development workshops
  4. Drive the mentoring relationship
  5. Give feedback to grow and improve the program
