Welcome back to another exciting, action packed  fall semester! We look forward to working with you this year. To fully participate in the BBA partnership, consider these resources and opportunities:

Advising:

Get your quick academic and career-related questions answered Monday-Friday throughout the semester:

Undergraduate Academic Services (UAS) Drop-In Advising, 3150 Grainger Hall

10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 2 – Friday, September 16

11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Daily M-F starting Monday, September 19

This is a first come, first-served type of appointment and expected to address quick questions. Grad checks are welcome for students intending to graduate this semester. Drop-in appointments are approximately 10 minutes in length. Scheduled appointments will begin on Monday, September 19. Students may begin scheduling appointments online, on the phone or in-person on Monday, September 12.

Business Career Center (BCC) Drop-In Advising, 3290 Grainger Hall

10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 6 - Wednesday, September 14

10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 15 (Day of the Career & Internship Fair)

11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Daily M-F starting Friday, September 16th

BCC drop-in advising is great for brief questions concerning resumes, cover letters, BuckyNet and career fair preparation. For other career-related questions, regular length scheduled appointments can be made by calling the BCC at 608.262.2550 or stopping by in-person.

When scheduled appointments resume, you will be able to meet with an academic or career advisor who specializes in your major:

Student Org Fair:

Get involved! The Business Student Organization Fair will be held on Wednesday, September 14 in Grainger Hall. Connect with different business student organizations and find one (or more!) that fit your interests.

Career and Internship Fair:

Start considering career options. Attend the Career & Internship Fair on Thursday, September 15 from 4:30PM-8:00PM at the Kohl Center to network with employers and see what internships and full-time opportunities are available. Companies attending the fair are listed in BuckyNet under Attend Events! Check out the BCC’s list of seminars and workshops including the Sophomore Shadow Information Sessions. You won’t want to miss out on these wonderful opportunities!

Interested in studying abroad? Start planning now! Be sure to check out the Business Study Abroad Fair on Tuesday, September 13 from 3:00-4:30 in the West Atrium of Grainger Hall.
