To sign up for a BLC group session, office hours, or an exam review, please apply at https://secure.bus.wisc.edu/blcapp. You will receive an immediate confirmation email and as soon as the groups are established in the first two-three weeks of semester you will receive a second placement email.
This free academic program prepares you for exams so sign up early in the semester before the first mid term exam -- and ace that exam. The courses supported in the BLC are: Microecon 101, Macroecon 102, AIS 100 Financial Accounting, 211 Managerial Accounting, 300 Accounting Principles, Finance 300 and 700, GB303-Business Statistics and GB310-Fundamentals of Accounting and Finance for Non Business Majors. Please note that GB310 is a new course that the BLC is supporting.
The BLC TA staff are graduate students with correlating work experience and degrees in your course work. Some have been TAs in the course, head TAs for the professor. They are excellent resources for you and your questions. Read about them in the BLC website: ww.bus.wisc.edu/blc/.
We look forward to working with you soon!
