Two Competitions for Students Interested in Marketing & PR by Kelly Cuene

Check out these opportunities for students interested in marketing and/or PR!

PRWeek Student of the Year will require undergraduate students to design a public relations campaign for Ford Motor Company, a Hill & Knowlton client. The structure of the assignment has changed a bit from last year and students will be required to submit a 5-page write-up, exclusive of images and pitch letters. Students will be competing for a chance to win a $5000 cash prize and an internship at Hill & Knowlton, along with a chance to win a paid trip to New York for the final round of judging and for the PRWeek Awards in March 2012. Caples Student Campaign of the Year will require undergraduate students to design a marketing campaign for General Motors, an Alloy Marketing + Media client. Student will submit a write-up of their marketing strategy along with examples of creative work that are part of the campaign. Students will be competing for a chance to win a $5000 cash prize, an internship at Alloy Marketing + Media, and a trip to New York City for the Caples Awards in March 2012.
