Supported by the Howard Carver Ethics and Professionalism Program, the Department of Accounting will host their 2011 Spring Ethics and Professionalism Symposium on Tuesday May 3, 2011 in 1100 Grainger Hall from approximately 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
The event will feature a talk and book signing from David Callahan, Author of the book, The Cheating Culture: Why More Americans are Doing Wrong to Get Ahead. David Callahan's book has been part of the required reading list for the MAcc students' summer ethics assignment for the past several years; additionally, the Spring 2010 Symposium was focused around this book. You can read an excerpt from this book here. Additionally, review David Callahan's website, Cheating Culture.
Light refreshments will be served outside Morgridge during this event. The event is open to all students and faculty of the School of Business and we hope to see many of you there for this great opportunity.
