On Friday, November 18th, Deloitte hosted a case competition, in which 18 students presented the results of their research and analysis of Deloitte Trueblood Cases. Each student group was advised by a Deloitte professional and a faculty member. All of the groups did a great job, but the group consisting of students Xiaolin Bi, Kan Dong, Mengwen Jiang, DaeHo Shin and Zhenyi Xia was selected as the winner by a judge panel comprised of Deloitte partners Kevin Ringel, Brian Mallaro, and Professor Larry Rittenberg.
This is the 8th year that the Andersen Center has worked with Deloitte on this program and it is a great co-curricular activity for students, giving them an opportunity to work on "live" accounting issues with accounting professionals. And the winning team has won a cool flip camera! Thank you to all who participated in this great case competition.
