Did you know UW-Madison GUTS, the campus tutoring program, offers several programs to help students improve their English language skills? Be sure to check out their Conversational English programs if you are a non-native English speaker who wants to improve your English speaking abilities.
Employers consistently tell the BCC staff that communication skills are one of the most important skills entry-level job and internship seekers need to bring to the workplace. Utilize campus programs like GUTS to make a great impression at upcoming on-campus interviews! There are also programs for English-speaking students hoping to improve their foreign language skills.
Also check out the International Student Services BRIDGE program, which pairs international students with domestic students for one-on-one meetings and conversation as well as group activities.
