Business Sophomores: Learn More About the BCC Sophomore Shadow Program by Kelly Cuene

Through the Business Career Center’s Sophomore Shadow Program, admitted sophomore students in the Wisconsin School of Business and School of Human Ecology have the opportunity to get an up-close look at a company or industry by “shadowing” professionals through a normal day on the job.

Explore career possibilities and see firsthand how classroom skills relate to the workplace. Each job shadow will be held for one day during winter break (January 3-14, 2011).

Learn more about the program, how it works, eligibility criteria, program requirements and how to prepare at an upcoming information session:

Wednesday, October 13, 12:15-1:15

Monday, October 25, 4:30-5:30

Check Today in Grainger Hall for Information Session locations.

Resume submissions begin October 1. Deadline to apply is November 2! Students who wish to apply will need to do so via BuckyNet. If you do not have a BuckyNet account set up, plan on attending a BCC Orientation Session to get started.

Contact the Business Career Center at 262.2550 or 3290 Grainger Hall with questions.
