There's a lot going on at the Morgridge Center. See how you can get involved.
Let the Morgridge Center help fund your service experience! The Morgridge Center’s Co-Sponsorship Fund was developed to support University of Wisconsin students who are advancing the Wisconsin Idea. These students may participate in activities ranging from leadership development to direct service. The Morgridge Center grants up to $250 to support projects by individual students, student groups, or formal student organizations looking to address specific community needs. Throughout the semester we are offering evening advising sessions to all students-no appointment necessary! Just stop by the Morgridge Center on the following date and time to meet with a Campus Liaison who can help you find a volunteer opportunity. The first evening advising session is on Tuesday, February 2nd from 5:00-7:00pm. Click here for more info!
Volunteer Transportation Program
Register to receive free taxi rides to community organizations in Madison. This service is available to UW students who volunteer at least eight times during the semester at a qualified site. Students must attend a brief orientation before using the Volunteer Transportation service. Over 120 sites are eligible for this program. Click here for more info!
Dance to help the children of American Family Children’s Hospital! On February 26-27th, students from all over campus will be dancing from 7:00PM-9:00AM in order to raise money for sick children. All you have to do is raise $100 to come for the whole event or $20 to come for any 2 hours, and the last hour is free for everyone. Last year, students at UW Madison raised $56,884.92, more than any other Big Ten School! Join now and make a difference. Learn more here.
