Use Your Business Knowledge to Help Haiti by Kelly Cuene

Mission of Hope, Haiti (MOH) is an organization that provides meals, education, and support for the people of Haiti. This non-profit organization has been working to improve the living conditions in Haiti long before the earthquake but is now re-focusing on key efforts in the disaster relief, as well as re-building Haiti for the long term.

MOH has developed a master plan for their recovery efforts and is now beginning the process of fundraising and developing a business plan that outlines how the organization will operate in the future, what the expense structure will be, and how to raise the needed funds from donors, private and governmental grants and businesses. A member of the MOH Board of Directors, who is also a key supporter of the Accenture Leadership Center here in the school of business, is seeking assistance from any professors or students who are interested in helping to develop this business plan.

To learn more about the organization, visit the Mission of Hope website and check out this clip from MSNBC!
