Be a Financial Coach at Dane County Financial Education Center
The Financial CHANGE Program is one of the programs offered by Dane County Extension Financial Education Center. The program provides individuals with support using Coaching, a Hands-on approach, Accountability, Networking, Goal Setting, and Education.
This program matches you (“the partner”) to a trained volunteer “coach” from the community. Your coach is not a financial adviser and has nothing to sell, but will help you keep track of your financial goals and work with you to reach them.
If you enjoy motivating people and are interested in helping people reach their goals, then you can be a coach at Dane County Extension Financial Education Center!
Computer Lab Assistant Opportunity
The Urban League of Greater Madison is in need of volunteers to monitor use of computers and answer questions in our computer lab during business hours. Many of our members are still becoming familiar with computers and will need assistance in navigating websites, e-mail accounts, and computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel. We are willing to work around your schedule but would like volunteers to make a time commitment and volunteer at the same time each week if possible. Individuals should have a strong appreciation for diversity.
