Volunteer with Schools of Hope
Schools of Hope is a tutoring program which aims to address the achievement gap in education between African-American, Latino, and Southeast Asian students and their white peers in the Madison middle and high schools. Volunteer tutors commit to serving at least an hour a week at an area school. Tutors work one-on-one with students, providing academic guidance to students who need additional support. Volunteers can choose, when, where, what subjects, and with whom they want to tutor.
