Introducing the Student Retail Association (fomerly the Retail Club) by Kelly Cuene

The UW Retail Club has revamped over the winter break! The executive board is proud to announce the new Student Retail Assocation at the University of Wisconsin (SRA). Membership is OPEN TO ALL MAJORS!

SRA is a professional organization with activities designed to explore many dimensions of retailing. Members gain an "on-the-job" perspective of the dynamic environment of retailing. Participation in the Student Retail Association provides opportunities to develop leadership skills and to interact with students with common interests.

The last three years the club has had the chance to travel to the NRF (national retail federation) Conference in New York City. Also, members were able to travel to Chicago to experience an inside look at companies such as Crate & Barrel, A&E, and DRAFTFCB.

The SRA kick-off event will be held on Thursday, February 4th at 7 pm at Uno's Pizza on State Street. Enjoy free food and plenty of new information.
