BBA Orientation

At the time of admission notification students admitted to the Wisconsin BBA receive a link for Orientation registration the following fall. An orientation is required for all new BBA students regardless of admission path. Though, students traveling abroad may be excused.

The Wisconsin BBA Orientation takes place in Grainger Hall early in the fall admission semester. Lasting approximately two hours, it includes a social with cake and punch, guest speakers, an optional building tour, and a breakout session with program academic staff and student leaders. During the breakout session, new BBA students can engage with staff and peer leaders in discussion about the expectations and responsibilities of business students. At the Orientation new students also sign the BBA Honor Code.

Other important Orientation elements include a brief overview of business school majors and a discussion of community, student organizations, and ways to get involved.

New BBA students also receive a t-shirt and padfolio at the Orientation.
