Did you attend SOAR this summer? Sign up for Wisconsin School of Business Welcome Events! 
Wisconsin Welcome is an opportunity for first-year and transfer students to discover all that the university has to offer during your first weeks on campus! As a part of Wisconsin Welcome, the Wisconsin School of Business is sponsoring a series of events for students interested in business. This is your chance to:
- Make personal connections with current business students, faculty and staff
- Get familiar with Grainger Hall and the resources available to pre-business students
- Learn about the majors within the business school as well as the Wisconsin School of Business application process
- Have fun!
Schedule of events:
Thursday, September 1 @ Noon-1:00 p.m.: New Student Welcome
We will celebrate your arrival to campus, share important academic tips for first-year pre-business success and provide tours of Grainger Hall. Interim Dean Joan Schmit and the Wisconsin BBA Admissions Director Jeff Sawyer will provide a welcome to students. This event will occur directly after the UW-Madison Convocation at the Kohl Center.
Tuesday, September 6 @ 6:00-7:30 p.m.: Cluster Meet & Greet
Get connected with your peers, campus and the Wisconsin School of Business! Through your participation in the Cluster Meet & Greet you will be part of a small group of 10-15 other new students led by an upperclassmen mentor. Have some fun getting to know others and be a part of a group of students also considering a business major. Registration is required to attend this event. Cluster Meet and Greet participants are then eligible to attend the Faculty Networking Dinner.
Thursday, September 8 @ 5:00-6:00 p.m.: Cluster Faculty Networking Dinner
Enjoy a pizza dinner and hear from faculty who will provide information about their departments, offer tips on being a successful college students and share their favorite things about the UW-Madison campus. Registration is required to attend this event.The Faculty Networking Dinner is only open to students who join a cluster and attend the Cluster Meet & Greet on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
Friday, September 9 @ 3:00-4:30 p.m.: Scavenger Hunt
Have fun discovering campus resources that will be valuable to you during your academic career. Prizes will be awarded!
