Prospective Student Visits
Prospective students and guests are invited to experience a campus visit, complete with a business school information session followed by a 100-minute walking tour of campus. These tours are available by appointment only. For Undergraduate, Full-Time MBA, or Evening and Executive MBA visits
Daily Walking Tours
The University of Wisconsin-Madison offers a guided, 100-minute walking tour of campus led by experienced tour guides who highlight campus life, academics, and the history of the university. Tours are offered on weekdays and on weekends with some exceptions. Reservations are recommended. Tours leave from Union South, 1308 W. Dayton Street (see map).
Tour schedule exceptions:
- No tours on home football Saturdays, state holidays and the day after Thanksgiving
- There is a modified tour schedule during winter break (mid-December through mid-January). If you are planning your visit during this time, please check the schedule before confirming your plans.
- Campus Walking Tour booklets are also available.
Customized Group Visits
If you are bringing a group to UW-Madison, and you would like help with your visit, our Visitor Relations Coordinator can recommend campus highlights, coordinate the logistics of your visit and provide experienced tour guides. Learn more.
