Valeriya Kuts is joining the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s A.C. Nielsen Center for Marketing Research from Chicago, where she worked for Quaker Oats Foods and Snacks Consumer Insights and Strategy Department. As a member of the CIS team, she got to work on a variety of research initiatives ranging from brand situational analyses and in-home consumer usage tests to international engagements helping teams explore opportunities across day parts and consumption occasions.
Valeriya holds a BA in economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and got her first exposure to research methods during a summer semester at the University of Michigan Institute for Social Research. This past summer, she interned at Colgate-Palmolive in New York City, supporting both the innovation and base sides of the oral care business. Outside the classroom, Valeriya is actively involved with the Wisconsin School of Business by serving as co-president of Graduate International Business Association and working as a project assistant providing marketing research services for an outside client.
