Eric Lee joins the Operations and Technology Management (OTM) program with a BS in biomedical engineering and a certificate in environmental engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Since graduation, he has worked at Eaglelite Industrial Co., Ltd., a leading Taiwanese manufacturer of industrial hose couplings, metal casting, and plastic injection products. As the senior process engineer, Eric effectively bridged the communication channels between customers and local shop floors in different nations to reduce response time by 35%. Additionally, he directed various casting tooling developments that resulted in the expansion of the company product portfolio by 5%. Eric has traveled internationally to visit customers and shop floors to maintain strong client relations and to search for business opportunities, actions that have directly supported a 100% revenue growth in the company in 2010. For his 2012 summer internship, Eric was employed by Castop Matrix Co., Ltd., to evaluate the feasibility of a capital investment project. Through this experience, he has gained a profound understanding of cultures and criteria in developing operations in a foreign nation. Outside work, Eric enjoys travels, badminton, volleyball, and outdoor activities.
