Most recently, Noelle worked for Lipman Hearne, a marketing consulting and services firm that specializes in the non-profit sector. In her role as a Senior Account Planner with the Brand Strategy and Planning practice, Noelle managed the brand development process for clients, including market analysis, research, brand strategy, and creative concept development. Noelle also led development of brand activation plans, working with the firm’s media, interactive, design, and integrated marketing departments, to help clients convey their brands across all consumer touchpoints. Noelle’s recent clients at Lipman Hearne include the University of Chicago Booth, Radiological Society of North America, University of Miami, and Oregon State University.

Noelle started her professional career as an international marketing coordinator at Life Fitness, a global fitness equipment manufacturer. In this position, Noelle managed communications to international subsidiaries and Latin American retailers, and assisted in the planning of events for three global tradeshows.

Noelle received her BA from Washington and Lee University in English with Honors, and an MA in Social Science from University of Chicago.

While at University of Chicago, Noelle studied the disciplines essential to understanding consumer behavior–-cultural anthropology, sociology, and qualitative research methods. Here, she gained the grounding and tool set that allows for deep understanding of consumers and the cultures in which they operate. For her Master’s thesis, Noelle used the ethnographic method to assess public reception of a groundbreaking exhibit at the National Museum of Mexican Art, The African Presence in Mexico.
