Grainger Hall is home to a state-of-the-art, high-tech, and well-stocked special purpose library.

The Business Library draws upon the vast resources of UW-Madison campus libraries - one of the leading research collections in North America with 7.3 million printed volumes, 55,000 serial titles, 6.2 million microforms, 160 linear feet of manuscript collections, and over 7 million items in other formats, including government documents, maps, musical scores, audiovisual materials, and more.

Visitors can also retrieve specialty journal articles, books, course print reserves and many specialty databases, including Bloomberg and Choices III, which are only available in the Business Library. 

With over a dozen break-out rooms, many equipped with computers and large screens, the Business Library offers opportunities to practice presentations, complete team assignments, and study in a comfortable environment. Printers and copiers are also available.

Business Library service points and computers are accessible on the first floor of Grainger Hall. Laptops, cameras, and digital voice recorders are available for checkout, and reference librarians are able to assist with research and reference questions. The second floor is devoted to student seating with quiet study.  

In addition to a physical visit, hundreds of e-books, e-journals, electronic reserves, most databases, and company and industry information can be accessed via computer or mobile device online using a campus NetID. Several helpful Research Guides are also available on the most heavily research topics. The library provides reference assistance via Chat and E-mail for extra convenience.
